The Fran-4000 was a sniper rifle made by Vapor Industries. It was the first sniper rifle created by the company, and it was also their first weapon that did not use incendiary rounds. Instead, the weapon used ammo that could tear through armor and most biotic shields. The sniper rifle was named after the city where their headquarters was located, San Francisco. The weapon was criticized by weapon's experts due to its slow fire rate but it was applauded for its long range and large ammo clips.
