Prizrak Pal'tsev (or "Ghost Fingers", as it's known in English) is a top-secret Alliance Military unit devoted to cyberwarfare. Composed mainly of Russian Alliance personnel, the Fingers are responsible for protecting Alliance space from any threat that could come through the Extranet, whether it be a computer virus or a hacking attempt.
The Fingers are notorious for recruiting almost anybody with sufficient hacking skills. One of their most notorious recruits, Yuliya Ignatyev, joined when she was only 11 years old - after she had successfully hacked into the Alliance personnel database and gotten herself assigned to the SSV Belgrade for four months.
