Urdnot Galux, or simply 'Galux', was a Krogan mercenary who was an outspoken critic of the Krogan way of life after the genophage. Though a fierce soldier, Galux was a rather gentle soul, particularly to young children. Galux was also one of the most tolerant Krogan alive; he held little animosity towards the Salarians or the Turians, stating that "The Krogan bit off too much, and look where it got them.".
Born in 1969, Galux was one of the very rare Krogan fathers, whose child lived despite the genophage. His son Nurax was the pride and joy of his life, but this was quickly shattered when another clan attacked, taking both his newborn son and the mother of his child and leaving Galux emotionally scarred.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Galux was born on Tuchanka in 1969, and was raised to be your average Krogan; fierce, conceited, and with a contempt for other races. However, throughout his young life, he found that despite it being told what his life was going to be like, he couldn't help but hold a shade of doubt in his heart that there was more to life than the crude Krogan way of life. He remained on Tuchanka and silently detested his lifestyle, but continued despite the hardships.
Nurax[]
In 2100, Galux discovered that after a trip to the femlae camp, he was going to be a father. The thrill of being a parent was great enough, but the fact that he was a Krogan parent was even a greater source of joy. He named his son Nurax and loved his son dearly, becoming quite a pariah amongst other Krogan.
Galux's life was shattered in 2102, however, when a Blood pack allied-rival clan of clan Urdnot attacked and killed his son and the mother of his son. Galux entered a deep depression that eventually turned into a great hatred for the Krogan people. Believing that his people weren't even worth curing of the Genophage, he took to the stars, abandoning his people and hoping that he would live to see the demise of the Krogan.
Mercenary Work[]
For years, Galux used his skills from Tuchanka to work as a freelance mercenary. Throughout these years, he frequently considered suicide, but kept himself from actually comitting it due to considering the act very weak in nature. He killed as a hitman, and guarded as a bodyguard, for many years and on many planets.
